Celtic Research has set up a Cask Reunification Service to mitigate the consequences of insolvencies in the whisky investment sector; and reduce the fraud perpetrated by criminals, posing as legitimate brokers and selling non-existent barrels (casks), or overselling the same barrel (cask) to different individuals.

Our Cask Reunification Service involves locating the legal cask owner to link them directly with the warehouse storing the cask. Our solution establishes a transparent relationship between owner and storage provider, which we hope will reunite owners/ estates to their valuable casks and reduce the possibility of fraud.

We provide a FREE ‘Unclaimed Asset Audit’ to bonded, regulated whisky warehouses and distilleries which benefits them in the following ways:

We also provide a 10% commission from our fee to the firm, or individual who refers the case.
